About the project
Issy Cœur de Ville, an initiative by Altarea and the city of Issy-les Moulineaux, is an ambitious project which aims to create a new 3-hectare neighborhood. Close to Paris, this multi-faceted project includes 15,000 m² of shops, 300 apartments, 3 office buildings, a cinema, and nurseries. It stands out for its innovative approach, integrating fun shared spaces and digital solutions to improve life in the city.
What was PRO-FOND’s contribution?
PRO-FOND played a crucial role in this project, with the construction of a diaphragm wall held in place by 3 beds of temporary anchorages and 3 beds of metal needle beams, shoring an excavation measuring approximately 17 m. This structure is essential to support the mixed use property development, which features offices, apartments, shops, and other public equipment over a surface area of around 100,000 m².
Which challenges did PRO-FOND have to overcome?
We had to install the diaphragm wall in a dense urban environment while guaranteeing safety and minimizing disruption for local inhabitants.

Beyond the technical side, PRO-FOND helped move forward a project to bring fresh new energy into the center of Issy-les-Moulineaux. Issy Cœur de Ville is more than just a property development, it is a vision of a new way of urban living. It is designed to enhance the well-being of residents and using innovative solutions to improve local communities.
