BOIS COLOMBES (92) ZAC POMPIDOU - LOT F
A little context?
We were brought in as part of a construction project for an 89-apartment residential development located at 11-19 Rue Armand Lépine in Bois Colombes (Hauts de Seine). This project was part of the wider Pompidou – Le Mignon ZAC initiative to create a green and dynamic neighbourhood, reflecting a clear urban identity and addressing contemporary urban issues.
What was PRO-FOND’s contribution?
PRO-FOND played a crucial role in this project. We created a 42 cm thick diaphragm wall, held in place by a bed of metal needle beams, and installed 66 foundation piles. These techniques were crucial to ensuring the stability and safety of the project.
Which challenges did PRO-FOND have to overcome?
The biggest challenge was to retain an excavation at a height of 6.5 meters in a dense urban environment. Moreover, the installation of the foundation piles required considerable
precision and technical expertise, given the varying depths and diameters required.
Additional Information
PRO-FOND helped transform the urban space in the neighbourhood: redefining the Avenue d’Argenteuil, creating public spaces including a new square, the renovation and development of pedestrian walkways and streets, and the extension and redevelopment of the Pompidou park. These reflect our commitment to sustainable development and the creation of high-quality spaces for people to live.
